Privacy policy
Arboras, LLC runs arboras.com. This policy covers the website: what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The Arboras app has its own app privacy policy.
What we collect
- When you send us a list. If you text, call, WhatsApp, or email us, we get your name, your number or email address, and what you send: the plant list, the job site, photos, and notes.
- When you join the plugin waitlist. Your email address, your company if you add it, and which assistant you use.
- When you use the site. The pages you visit, the buttons you tap (for example, which way you chose to send a list), the site that sent you, your device and browser type, and an approximate location, to the city, worked out from your IP address. We collect this with PostHog, which keeps a random ID in a first-party cookie and in your browser’s storage. We don’t record your screen or keystrokes, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
- To run and protect the site. Our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request logs to serve pages and block attacks.
How we use it
- To quote your list, fill and deliver the order, and reply to you.
- To email waitlist members when the plugin is available.
- To see which pages help buyers, and to find and fix problems.
- To keep the site secure.
Who else handles it
We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising. These companies process it for us so we can run the business:
- Cloudflare, for hosting and security.
- PostHog, for website analytics.
- Fibery, where waitlist signups are stored.
- Google Workspace, for email.
- Quo, for our phone number and texts.
- WhatsApp, only if you choose to message us there.
The growers and drivers who fill and deliver an order get the details they need, such as the job site and a contact. We also share information when the law requires it.
Text messages
We use your number to answer you about your list, quote, and order. We don’t share your mobile number or your consent to texts with anyone for their marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts.
Cookies and your choices
PostHog sets one first-party cookie for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we don’t load analytics at all.
How long we keep it
- Messages, quotes, and order records: as long as we need them to serve you and to keep business and tax records.
- Waitlist signups: until the plugin is available and we’ve emailed you, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Website analytics: only as long as it helps us improve the site.
Your requests
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to leave the waitlist. Email sales@arboras.com or text (615) 967-0796, and we’ll reply within 30 days. We don’t sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
Children
The site is for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS, and only the people who need your information can see it. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
